Explore the Trails of the Quabbin Region

From quiet forest paths to panoramic hilltop views, the Quabbin Region is a hiker’s paradise with more trails than we can list in one place.

Quabbin Park, located at the southern end of the reservoir, offers several scenic trails and you can explore them by clicking here or using the map to the right. Beyond the park, 53 public access gates encircle the Quabbin Reservoir, each one a gateway to unique hikes across diverse terrain. Download trail maps and learn more on the Mass DCR website.

The New England Trail also winds through several Quabbin Region towns—offering a spectacular long-distance trek through the heart of New England. And don’t forget: each town in the region has its own hidden gems. There are links to the towns on the Quabbin Region page to find local trails and nature spots waiting to be discovered.
